A hundred square cover slips, 22 by 22 mm and 0.13 to 0.17 mm thick, in soda lime glass, pre-cleaned and packed in a plastic box. A cover slip goes on top of the sample to flatten it and hold a wet mount in place, and Bresser's point is that a thin, even layer is what makes high magnification work.
The thickness matters because most objectives are designed around a cover slip of 0.17 mm, and the figure is usually printed on the side of the lens. These slips sit inside that range, so they suit the 40x objective on a school or beginner's microscope such as the Bresser Erudit Basic as well as more expensive optics.
