Everything that goes with a microscope apart from the slides themselves: experiment kits, slide boxes, stains, immersion oil, replacement bulbs and LEDs, cleaning kits, dust covers and stands. This collection is small at launch and will grow as our Levenhuk and Bresser ranges fill out. It currently holds the K50 experiment kit and the LP10 lens cleaning pen alongside our slide sets, camera and phone adapter. The accessories worth buying first

A slide box, because loose slides chip and prepared ones are worth protecting. A set of basic stains (methylene blue and iodine cover most home biology) to make transparent cells visible. A lens cleaning kit and a dust cover, since dust on an objective is the most common cause of a disappointing image. Eyepieces and objectives of other powers come later, once you know which magnifications you use.

Will Levenhuk accessories fit other microscopes?

Slides, cover slips, stains and slide boxes are universal. Eyepieces and objectives depend on the tube diameter and thread, which we list on each product page.

Do you sell replacement bulbs?

Our current microscopes all use LED lighting, which lasts for years. Where a replacement part exists we'll list it here.
