Mount

A T2 ring is the piece between a Bresser camera adapter and an SLR or mirrorless camera body. The adapter ends in a T2 thread, the ring screws onto it, and the ring's other side is a bayonet matching the camera's lens mount, in Canon EOS or Nikon fits.

It's needed with both the 2x T2 adapter for 23.2 mm tubes and the Science 2.5x and 4x adapter, and with Bresser's telescope adapters too. Bresser's advice is to check the camera manual for which mount it takes. Both rings are black metal; the Canon EOS ring is 65 mm across, 15 mm deep and 40 g, and the Nikon ring is 55 mm across and 12 mm deep.

Each comes as the ring alone, with no adapter. The SLR camera adapter 2x T2 is the matching adapter for most compound microscopes, our microscope camera guide explains the setup, and the microscope accessories collection has the rest.
