The K50 is the experiment kit that comes in the box with Levenhuk's Rainbow microscopes, sold here on its own for a second child, a classroom or home education group, or a microscope that didn't come with one. There's no microscope in it.

Inside are five prepared specimens (a fly's leg, an onion bulb, a cotton stalk, a slice of tree trunk and a pine slice), five blank glass slides, forceps, a dropper, a microtome for cutting very thin slices, a brine shrimp hatchery, small flasks of yeast, sea salt and other samples, and a dust cover for the microscope. The illustrated guide, Attractive Microscope. Scrutinizing the Microcosm, covers preparing slides and experiments such as how cells react to heat, cold and chemicals.

Everything in it suits a compound microscope, which lights the slides from below. If you already have a Rainbow microscope, you have one of these.
