The MikroCam SP is a USB 2.0 C-mount camera for a Windows computer, in 3.1 MP and 5 MP versions, for labs where colour accuracy matters; Bresser specifies its CMOS sensors for low noise and natural colour. It threads onto a trinocular C-mount port, and adapters for 23.2, 30 and 30.5 mm eyepiece tubes are in the box.

The 3.1 MP version has 2048 by 1536 pixels on a 5.28 by 3.84 mm sensor with 2.5 micron pixels. The 5 MP version has 2592 by 1944 pixels on a 5.70 by 4.28 mm sensor with 2.2 micron pixels. Both weigh 175 g and share software that measures in the live picture, stacks focus, stitches mosaics and records time-lapse.

On a 23.2 mm tube Bresser recommends the variable 0.5x reduction lens to widen and brighten the field.
