The MikrOkular LF is an eyepiece camera for a Windows computer. It goes into a 23.2 mm eyepiece tube in place of the eyepiece, or into a trinocular microscope's third tube, and the 30 mm and 30.5 mm rings in the box fit most stereo microscopes.
LF stands for the wider field. A reduction lens inside the barrel shows about seven times the area of the standard MikrOkular, close to the view through a 10x eyepiece. The sensor is 1920 by 1080 pixels at up to 25 frames a second, behind a UV and IR blocking filter, and the CamLabLite download adds measuring to photo and video capture. It needs Windows 10 or 11 over USB-C, so a Mac or a phone won't run it.
In the box are the camera, dust cover, USB-C to USB-A cable and both rings. A microscope with a C-mount port needs the 30.5 mm C-mount adapter too. The MikrOkular Full HD below it costs less with a narrower view, and the MikroCam SF above it is a C-mount camera with focus stacking and up to 30 frames a second.
